Helping KRF Development's projects
KRF Development was officially created in 1980 by Pema Wangyal Rinpoche, Gerard Godet and Peter Benson. The Kangyur Rinpoche Foundation was registered in April 1982 with the UK Charities Commission (registration N° 284 845). To help further the activities and support of KRF Development, a sister organization in Portugal, the Fundação Kangyur Rinpoche, was registered in 2005, and in 2006 the Kangyur Rinpoche Fundation was founded in the USA and officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
From its creation until now, the Kangyur Rinpoche Foundation and its sister organizations have been funded by a handful of dedicated donors. The time has now come to allow others to participate in this rewarding work.
Various foundations have been set up to collect and send funds to support KRF Development’s projects:
- Kangyur Rinpoche Foundation (in the UK, USA and Portugal)
- Fondation d’Entraide Bouddhique Internationale (in Switzerland)
- Fondation Padmasambhava (in France)
