Designated donation ideas
You can make a general donation to Songtsen’s projects and we will use it where most urgently needed, or donate more specifically to one of its four departments, or even to a project you particularly wish to support.
The following table will give you an idea of how your donation could help.

| 15 € | Free 100 earthworms, 20 fish, 1 lobster, or hundreds of small animals that would otherwise be used as live bait (e.g. crickets, minnows, crayfish, frogs). These animals are released into a safe environment similar to their natural habitat. |
| 35 € | Help care for an impoverished Tibetan or Himalayan child for one month, including food and shelter |
| 45 € | Provide medical care for an orphan or a Tibetan refugee child for 1 year |
| 50 € | Provide 1 new mattress made from natural coconut fibre and foam (30 €), 1 pillow (1 €), 1 towel (1 €), 2 cotton sheets (4 €), 1 blanket (4 €), 1 washable blanket cover (1 €), 1 personal hygiene bag, including soap, toothbrush, and toothpaste (3 €), and 1 study pack, including notebooks, pens, pencils, and study book (6 €) for an orphan in Darjeeling, India |
| 75 € | Provide a set of clothes (shawl, robe, shirt, undershirt) and pair of shoes for 5 Tibetan refugee monks or nuns. |
| 100 € | Helps to preserve and digitally format over 1000 pages of sacred Buddhist texts |
| 250 € | Help to repair collapsed roofs for impoverished families in a remote Nepali village. |
| 275 € | Provides food for a child Tibetan or Himalayan child for 1 year |
| 380 € | Provide food and lodging for a practitioner in three-year retreat in France for one month. |
| 400 € | Provides complete care for a Tibetan refugee child in India, Nepal or Bhutan for one year. |
| 500 € | Contribute towards the travel expenses of Tibetan lamas visiting Europe to teach the Dharma. |
| 750 € | Print dharma practice texts to be distributed freely to dharma students (e.g., during public teachings). |
| 2,500 € | Provide technical programming to create an online audio archive, which would provide free downloads of oral teachings |
| 5,000 € | Provide the teaching place for the annual summer seminar in the Dordogne, including the rental of a large tent. |
| 10,000 € | Help build a new classroom for a school in Maratika, to extend the grade levels from 10 to 12. |
| 25,000 € | Contribute towards the translation and publication of a 300 folio Tibetan text |
| 50,000 € | Help fund the construction of a monastery in Nepal |
| +100,000 € | Help fund the construction of a library facility in France, to be used for text preservation, archives, research and translation work, as well as for Songtsen management and teaching events. |
